1. Flex Day 2007 - Save the Date - Our Fall 2007 Flex day is scheduled on 8-30-07 Thursday, 8 - 4 pm in the Campus Center. More details to follow

2. Elder Care Panel - Special thanks to Sandi Lampert for having an Elder Care Panel of experts on 4-18-07

3. Teaching Tips - Mickey Hong Staff Development Coordnator from L.A. City College will visit our campus on 4-24 - Campus Center - noon in a "Brown Bag" lunch series - where she will go over teaching tips for our faculty - again special thanks to Sandi Lampert for planning this activity

4. Denim Day and the Clothesline project - in observance of "sexual violence awareness" on April 25th, Weds. please wear "denim" to observe Denim Day and drop by the quad 11-1:30 to see the Clothesline project - a visual display that calls attention to violence against women. special thanks to Myriam Mekelburg and her Sociology students for organizing the Clothesline project.

5. Understanding Communication & Challenging Behaviors will be presented by the Alzheimer's Association - Thursday, April 26, 2007 - 1:00pm – 2:00pm - Campus Center 4 RSVP to Sandi Lampert

6. Moodle Training for Facutly - 4/25, 5/02, and 5/09 - 10-12 pm, LRC 234 - Faculty are invited to attend three (3) consecutive days of training on Moodle course management system, and receive your moodle classroom so you can upload your syllabus and class materials for your students.
